Spring 2026 term and Fall 2026 semester

I added a link to Keith (2026) from a meeting I recently attended. I have switched to allowing AI, not for answering questions or generating text, but for “higher-tier” roles that Keith outlines.

Winter 2026 semester

This was my first /AI Manifesto. I have quotes from what BYU has said about it, including statements by the department, college, and university. I have thoughts about responsible use of AI, including a recent survey by BYU Linguistics MA students about what they consider responsible use. I end by telling students that I expect zero AI whatsoever.
